Advocates for Tufts ROTC

The Advocates for Tufts ROTC (representing Air Force, Army, Marine, and Navy alumni of Tufts University, as well as friends of Tufts ROTC), was organized in 2005 to encourage continuance, increase enrollment of ROTC participants at Tufts, and work closely with a supportive Tufts administration. (Read more about the faculty's recent vote to acknowledge cadets' completion of ROTC on their transcripts in the Tufts Daily.)

The Advocates are involved with several events during the year:

  • An annual networking breakfast for cadets, midshipmen, alumni, and supporters
  • The annual Tufts Veteran's Day ceremony, featuring a passing of the flag, speech by a veteran alum, and lunch reception
  • The spring Commissioning Ceremony

Other events have taken place as well, such as a panel discussion focusing on women in the military.
