Foster Children’s Holiday Party

The Foster Children's Holiday Party is a long-standing tradition of the Tufts Alumni Boston community. For the past 25+ years, Tufts Alumni have been working with foster organizations from all over the greater Boston area to put on a special holiday party for foster children and their families. Every year, families come to campus for a day of holiday music, crafts, food and fun, including a visit from Santa! Each child also receives a toy, a game, and 2-3 new books to take home with them. In recent years, the committee has expanded its efforts and has begun throwing a Back to School Summer Picnic in August to provide these families with school supplies for the upcoming year.

If you are interested in getting involved with the Foster Children's Holiday Party as a volunteer or a planning committee member, please contact Scott Reed at scott.reed@ge.com or Dan Kaplan at dkaplan@law.harvard.edu. The Foster Children's Party committee also works closely with ACT Boston, the community service branch of Tufts Alumni Boston. For more information or to get involved with them, check out ACT Boston's page or contact Barry Kaufman at Barry.Kaufman@alumni.tufts.edu.
