Description
Tufts Alumni Connecticut and the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy invite you and a guest to join us for a four course dinner with wine pairings prepared by award winning chef and owner, Chef Bill Taibe at LeFarm. A leader of the new generation of chefs, Chef Taibe sources from and supports local farms and distributors to serve only the freshest ingredients.
Professor of Nutrition Dr. Jeanne Goldberg, AG59, NG86, J92P, and founding director of the Graduate Program in Nutrition Communication will describe her work with children and their families as you enjoy your dessert. She will discuss the GREEN Project Lunch Box Study, which encourages school-aged children to make healthy food choices by improving both the nutritional quality of foods and the eco-friendliness of the foods they bring from home to school.
