Description

Please join the Tufts School of Engineering and Tufts Alumni New York as we learn about Tufts research, the amazing world of Steinway, and about some of the collaborations between these two organizations. How are the synergies between music and technology affecting our world today?

Create your own musical instrument using an iPad and Lego NXT! Tufts' own Dr. Chris Rogers of the department of Mechanical Engineering and Dr. Paul Lehrman of the department of music will lead this interactive event and along with CS lecturer Ming Chow share the creative ways Tufts is teaching music technology and changing engineering education. The reception and discussion will take place that night in New York City's Steinway Hall.

This unique program will feature fun music and surprises from members of the Tufts community.
