Description
As you may well remember, thinking about life after college when you’re a student is exciting...and also a bit scary. Current Tufts students will face challenging economic conditions as they begin their transition from college to the world of work. Diversity Career Networking Night provides students of color the opportunity to network with recent alumni of color and is an important way to help them prepare for this transition. Students value this opportunity to hear alumni share their professional experiences and words of wisdom since graduating from Tufts and also provide insight into how Tufts prepared them for their careers. Current Tufts students have the chance to practice their networking as they meet with alumni from the Boston area.
The student-alumni networking reception begins at 7:00 pm. Alumni are invited to arrive early, starting at 6:30 pm, for a light dinner.
Diversity Career Networking Night is an annual event jointly promoted by the Tufts Latino Center, the Asian American Center at Tufts, the Tufts Africana Center, Tufts Career Center, and the Tufts University Alumni Association. It is funded by the Tufts Arts, Sciences & Engineering Diversity Fund.
