Tufts Gordon Institute’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program
Location: 51 Winthrop Street
Medford, MA | See Map
When: Thursday, April 04, 2013, 7:00 pm (iCal)
Eric Giler is the CEO of the MIT-inspired WiTricity, a start-up with a product described in 2009 by TED Talks as “straight out of science fiction” – or otherwise known as wireless electricity.
Described by Fast Company as “a feat of physics so subtle and so profound it could change the world,” Giler and WiTricity’s wireless electricity will beam power through the air to wirelessly power electronics, ranging from your television to re-charging your eco-friendly automobile.
Join us on Thursday, April 4 at 6:00 p.m. to hear Eric’s vision for WiTricity and his history as an entrepreneur, which includes founding a telecom provider in 1984 worth $150M in annual revenue to authoring eight patents, among many other distinguished accomplishments. A reception will immediately follow the lecture.
