Tele-Seminar: Market Your Brand with Cover Letters, Follow-up Emails, and more
To participate in this Alumni Career Services seminar, all you need is a phone and a computer!
Are your cover letters marketing you and your strengths effectively? Do thank-you notes really matter? In this one-hour telephone seminar, Leslie Warner of Tufts Alumni Career Services will offer strategies and resources to help you learn:
- How to use different types of cover letters effectively
- How to customize your cover letter to the employer’s needs
- How to write a thank-you letter that continues to market your assets
- How to follow up after the interview with your value proposition and become the top candidate
The seminar will be conducted by telephone and will last one hour. After you register, you will receive call-in instructions for the phone call, as well as information on how to download the PowerPoint presentation. The seminar will be limited to 15 participants in order to allow for discussion.
(Note: you can print out the PowerPoint ahead of time in either PowerPoint or Adobe Acrobat format; you need not be on the computer during the phone call).
