Please join The Tufts Daily and The Tufts Journalism Society for our very own Homecoming weekend alumni event. This event is a chance for current and former Daily staff members to connect with one another and enjoy a keynote presentation from New York Times Deputy Culture Editor Patrick Healy, A93. Doors will open at 10:30 am with the event beginning at 11:30 am. After the event, The Tufts Daily will be hosting an Open House in our Curtis Hall basement office. A light breakfast will be provided.

About Patrick Healy:
Patrick Healy is deputy culture editor at the New York Times. He was a central member of the New York Times’ 2016 presidential campaign team. Previously, Healy was a reporter for The Boston Globe, where he covered John Kerry's presidential campaign, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and higher education. He was one of two finalists for the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Beat Reporting for his higher education coverage and received The Livingston Award in 2001 for his Globe series on Harvard honors and grade inflation. Before his time as a professional reporter, Healy served as editor-in-chief of The Tufts Daily in the fall of 1992.

In lieu of a registration fee, we ask that you consider making a donation to support our two new inclusivity initiatives, The Tufts Daily Support Fund and The Tufts Daily Work Study Program. We have found that the time commitment that comes with working on a daily paper presents financial restraints to students who would otherwise be able to contribute to the Daily. These two programs serve to ease that burden by supporting students financially so that anyone and everyone can put as much time into the paper as they wish to, regardless of their financial situation. We thank you for any and every donation you can make towards these initiatives, and please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!

Please register online by Sunday, October 1.
