Description

Join us for a conversation with Manuel Muniz, Fletcher School professor of the practice and interim director of EPIIC.

Manuel is a jurist and an international relations scholar.  He is the director of the Program on Transatlantic Relations at Harvard University's Weatherhead Center for International Relations where he leads activities and research on US-Europe relations. Manuel has studied European integration as a means of understanding how interdependent political units react to complexity, a topic of growing importance given the increased velocity of change produced by innovation and its impact on our societies.

He will discuss the rise of populism, a key component of this year’s EPIIC theme on “Order and Chaos: Diplomacy and Force in a Changing World” with his talk entitled, "Brexit, Trump, and the Collapse of the Liberal Order."  We will also share what students are doing in the Institute's various programs.

Please join us at this special event.  Beer, wine and light hors d'oeuvres will be provided.  All members of the Tufts community are welcome.
