Description
This fall, the Tufts New York City Women’s Networking Group, in partnership with the Offices of Alumni Relations and Career Services, invites you to think "outside the box" about career development and future industry trends. Rather than focus on traditional fields such as law, medicine, and communications, we'd like to discuss other topics including new media, health care, community development, and the arts. We feel the workplace is changing every year and we hope this program design introduces new ideas for navigating alternative fields.
Leslie Warner, Associate Director of Alumni Career Services at Tufts, will introduce and moderate the discussion. Confirmed panelists to date are:
- Julian Barnes, A92, CEO and founder of R.E.A.L. Fitness
- Jennifer Covell, J86, representing alternative legal careers
- David Hamilton, A90, VP of Production and Development at VH1
- Dana Weissman, J96, representing arts and community development
- Allison Lynch, J90, speaking about banking, social enterprise, and international health
