Travel-Learn Program

China, Tibet & the Yangtze River

When: April 11, 2018 - April 29, 2018 (iCal)

Description

“It was the trip of a lifetime.”

How many unforgettable moments can one pack into 17 days? Let’s find out together on a very special, small-group journey that will take us from the Great Wall to Giant Pandas, and from the pinnacle of Himalayan spirituality to the cosmopolitan splendors of Shanghai. On our travels, we’ll get to know local families in their homes in Beijing and Llasa, Tibet. We’ll see treasures of antiquity like the Dazu Cave Drawings, Xian’s army of Terra Cotta Warriors, and Tibet’s 7th century Jokhang Temple. We’ll view the Yangtze’s numerous natural and manmade wonders from the comfort of a luxury river ship — and the deck of an authentic sampan. To make our adventure even more memorable, we can opt for two extra nights in Shanghai at journey’s end.

Outstanding value: Price includes round-trip air, first-class accommodations, deluxe three-day cruise, extensive meal plan, gratuities, and more. Limited space. Book early!
