“Fan the Fire” event with Engineers Without Borders

Description
Fan the Fire: Spirit, Sports, Service is a new celebration of Jumbo pride and the dedication to active citizenship we all share here at Tufts. At the Fan the Fire event on Saturday, February 4, students, alumni, and their families will fill Cousen’s Gym and the Gantcher Center to cheer not only for the men's and women's basketball teams (in a doubleheader vs. Amherst) and the men’s and women’s track teams, but also for a worthy cause supported by Tufts athletes. During this event there will plenty of activities for young kids including a one-lap race for kids with free T-shirts and prizes as well as an activity center in Chase Gym during the afternoon.

11:00 am - Track and Field Invitational Stampede
12 noon - Race For Kids during the Track meet
12:30 - 4 pm - Kids Activity Center in Chase Gym
2:00 pm - Women's Basketball game vs. Amherst
4:00 pm - Men's Basketball game vs. Amherst
