Travel-Learn Program

Iceland Getaway

When: April 12, 2018 - April 16, 2018 (iCal)

“Appreciated how our tour guide took us to beautiful locations somewhat off the typical tourist routes.”

With unprecedented interest in this destination, we are continuing to offer this extraordinarily attractive program. Join Tufts travelers for this escape to exotic Iceland, our closest European neighbor. We will stay in Reykjavik to take in the city’s vibrant culture, learn about the region’s Viking heritage, and experience the unbelievable natural landscape, including impressive geysers and glaciers, magnificent waterfalls, and (with luck) the Northern Lights. We have arranged a city tour and an introductory tour of the Icelandic countryside. There will also be time to independently relax and explore the city’s art museums and opera house, meet friendly people, and sample local seafood, all in one unforgettable long weekend. Optional excursions are available by request and at an additional cost.

Activity Level: Moderately Active
