Managing Your Finances: What you should know about your personal finances after college

Stuart Paap, financial advisor, will be on campus to discuss a wide array of topics, including making a budget vs. a spending plan, using credit wisely (cards, loans, etc.), saving vs. investing, Retirement 101; 401(k), IRA's, ROTH IRA's (and what to do), brokerage accounts (worth it?), mutual funds vs. exchange traded funds (which is better?), estate planning (wills, trusts), insurance (need vs. want), and more. This event is ideal for alumni who have graduated in the past 5 years.

Refreshments will be provided.

Speaker Bio:

Since 2010, Stuart Paap has worked in the private client group of a global financial institution. He and his team manage the investments of individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses and families. In addition to working as a financial advisor, he’s also a professional speaker who enjoys teaching the elements of financial independence and investing to everyone - and strives to keep it fun and meaningful.
