Description

While it may not seem like it outside, spring is around the corner and underneath the snow are NYC gardens and green spaces waiting for some Jumbo love!

It's time for the Tufts Active Citizens of NY (TACNY) annual participation in Hands on NY Day on Saturday, April 24.

TACNY will join volunteers from around the city in a major effort to beautify our city. Be ready to plant, paint, weed, or clean! Along with your registration comes a t-shirt, a fun, free after party and the opportunity to meet Tufts alumni. Hands on NY Day is a great way to spend a Saturday volunteering in the fresh air.

Please invite friends and family to join you and the Tufts Active Citizens of NY team.

Go Jumbos, go brown and blue, go green!

This activity will be included in the 150 Acts of Active Citizenship program, running throughout Tufts University Alumni Association’s Sesquicentennial Celebration. Further information, as well as a list of other acts taking place around the world, can be found at www.tuftsalumni.org/150acts.
