The Future of Work: Is an Inclusive Economy Possible?

Sponsored by:

Social Impact Network and Tisch College of Civic Life

When: Tuesday, October 10, 2017, 5:30 pm (iCal)

Description

Jobs as we know them are fundamentally changing. Automation, digital platforms and other innovations are leading to sweeping changes to the workplace and workforce. At the same time, the economic divide continues to grow, with Boston suffering the worst income inequality of any major US city. These changes are impacting industries, cities and politics, so what are we doing about it?
Join our panel of experts on Tuesday, October 10, as we bring together leaders to discuss these changes and where we go from here. The panel will be moderated by entrepreneur Diane Hessan, Tufts alumna and Trustee, and Chairman of C Space. Panelists will include Jody Rose of NEVCA and Hack.Diversity, and Rachel Kaprielian, former MA Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development and current Government Relations Liaison for McDonald’s.
