Description
Tufts Alumni Seattle invites alumni, current students, new transfers, incoming freshmen and their families for a picnic and afternoon at the Seattle Zoo! We will start the day with a picnic lunch in the south east portion of the North Meadow. Just look for the picnic tables and Tufts banner! Please bring your own picnic lunch (food pavilion is also open) and we will provide the Jumbo cake!
Just before 2 pm, the group will head over to the Elephant Barn to hear the elephant keeper chat and learn how Woodland Park Zoo supports elephant conservation in the wild. A perfect way to pay homage to Jumbo and provide new Jumbos with a good send-off!
Please feel free to spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the zoo.
