Join Tufts Alumni San Diego for our Welcome Week event! This year, the San Diego chapter will be celebrating in Coronado Island--a mere two-mile drive from cosmopolitan, downtown San Diego, and across one of the world's most distinctive bridges. A town rich in history, blessed with one of the finest beaches in the world and bathed in endless sunshine, Coronado is a vibrant beach community loaded with charm.
One of Tufts' very own alumna, Sue Simmons Gillingham, J77, recently opened a 17-room boutique hotel in an historic boarding house in Coronado and has been gracious enough to invite all San Diego alumni to visit, explore her new hotel, 1906 Lodge, and enjoy some light refreshments.
Please join us as we acquaint ourselves with other alumni, as well as, with the city we all live in--touted as the “Greatest City in the United States.” Be sure to register early as the first 20 people that register will receive a Tufts Alumni t-shirt!
