BBQ on President's Lawn
Catch up on the last few years while you feast on a catered, gourmet, all-you-can eat barbeque lunch (lots of veggie options too). In addition to lounging on the Lawn with a beer and enjoying the ice cream sundae bar, you can mosey over to the professional wine tasting event presented by Pour Favor Tasting and Ball Square Fine Wines. You'll learn about and sample twelve wines from around the world in this interactive tasting. Your little Jumbos are welcome at the BBQ- we'll have some special menu items and an area set up for families.
Spend the evening partying under the stars in the shadows of your old dorms. Enjoy a full buffet dinner, beer/wine, and a DJ who will take your requests and play all the best and ridiculous hits from the late 90s through today.
Brunch in Carmichael
Just like you remember! Including Belgian waffles with all the trimmings. All you can eat! Little Jumbos will also be welcome at the brunch.
Class Hall Snacks
These three reunion class events are a chance to spend some quieter quality time with your fellow '04, '09, and '13 Jumbos. Each reunion committee will select their location and menu. More details coming soon!
Tufts Fund Donor Reception
Calling all donors! Join us on Saturday, June 7 for an invitation-only brunch and cocktail reception to celebrate all that you do. Tufts President Anthony Monaco will host in the Coolidge Room as you mix and mingle with your peers and discuss the wonderful impact your support has had on the Tufts community this past year. Look for your invitation in the mail this spring!
Logistics: Accommodations & Travel
Check out our lodging options, including on and off-campus accommodations.
Miss having your friends across the hall instead of across the country? Not this weekend! We will single and double rooms and a very small number of suites in a couple of the dorms available. We will do our best to assign rooms/halls by class year and to accommodate your requests of whom you’ll be rooming near.
Some important notes to consider:
- A double room means two twin extra long beds, NOT a double bed.
- Your room will include: linens (sheets, blanket, towel) and a pillow. You’ll need to bring toiletries, flip flops for the shower (if you’re so inclined), and posters from your college days for decoration!
For those wishing to stay at a hotel, we hope to again negotiate a special rate with the Hyatt Place Medford Square (formerly the AmeriSuites) for Friday and Saturday nights, and have a block of rooms on hold.
Based on an excellent suggestion we received in 2011’s survey and implemented in 2012, we will again host a Lounge/Bag Check area which will be open 12 noon-12:30am on Saturday. This way, if you’re traveling in for the day and want a place to store your Soiree clothes while you’re at the BBQ, or vice versa, or you just want a place to put your feet up, watch some TV, or play some ping-pong, this is for you! Stop by anytime.
