BBQ on President's Lawn
Catch up on the last few years while you feast on catered, gourmet, all-you-can eat barbeque lunch from Smokey's Longhorn Catering (lots of veggie options too). In addition to lounging on the Lawn with a beer and enjoying the ice cream sundae bar, you can mosey over to the professional wine tasting event presented by Pour Favor Tasting and Ball Square Fine Wines. You'll learn about and sample twelve wines from around the world in this interactive tasting. Your little Jumbos are welcome at the BBQ- we'll have some special menu items and an area set up for families. Jumbos from the Classes of 2028, 2029, & 2030 (three and under) are free, and there is a minimal charge for Jumbos from the classes of 2027 and up.
Jumbo's Soiree
Spend the evening partying under the stars in the shadows of your old dorms. Enjoy a full buffet dinner, featuring food from various Boston neighborhoods. Vijay Nathan, A06, will be your DJ for the evening, taking requests and playing all the best and ridiculous hits from the late 90s through today. No pre-gaming necessary; this event features an open bar (beer/wine). Shuttle buses will run from campus to Davis Square at the end of night, so consider taking the T.
Brunch in Carmichael
Just like you remember! Including Belgian waffles with all the trimmings. All you can eat!
Little Jumbos are also welcome at the brunch, with no charge for those under three and a minimal charge for those 4 and up.
Class Hall Snacks
These three reunion class events are a chance to spend some quieter quality time with your fellow '02, '07, and '11 Jumbos. Each reunion committee has selected their location and menu, and for the classes of 2007 and 2011, the bars in Davis they suggest you head to to continue your Friday evening festivities (see your class page for details). Please note that these events are receptions, so while some food will be provided, they are not intended to be your meal for the evening. There will be hors d'oeuvres/dessert and a champagne toast at each event.
