BBQ on President's Lawn
Catch up on the last few years while you feast on a catered, gourmet, all-you-can eat barbeque lunch (lots of veggie options too). In addition to lounging on the lawn with a beer and enjoying the ice cream sundae bar, you can mosey over to the professional wine tasting event presented by Greater Boston’s premiere interactive wine tasting event company, Pour Favor. With an underlying Tufts-inspired wine theme in play, you’ll mingle with friends while learning about and sampling twelve different wines from around the world. Cheers to that!
Spend the evening partying under the stars in the shadows of your old dorms. Enjoy a full buffet dinner, beer/wine, and a DJ who will take your requests and play all the best and ridiculous hits from the late 90s through today.
Brunch in Dewick
Just like you remember! All you can eat! Little Jumbos will also be welcome at the brunch.
These three reunion class events are a chance to spend some quieter quality time with your fellow '06, '11, and '15 Jumbos. More details coming soon!
Tufts Fund Donor Reception
Calling all donors! Join us on Saturday, June 6 for an invitation-only brunch and cocktail reception to celebrate all that you do. Mix and mingle with your peers and new Arts & Sciences Dean James M. Glaser, and discuss the wonderful impact your support has had on the Tufts community this past year. Look for your invitation in the mail this spring!
Logistics: Accommodations & Travel
Check out our lodging options, including on- and off-campus accommodations.
Miss having your friends across the hall instead of across the country? Not this weekend! We will have rooms available in a couple of the dorms. We will do our best to assign rooms/halls by class year and to accommodate your requests for whom you’ll be rooming near.
Some important notes to consider:
- Rooms must be booked by May 30.
- A double room means two twin extra-long beds, not a double bed.
- Your room will include: linens (sheets, blanket, towel) and a pillow. You’ll need to bring toiletries, flip flops for the shower (if you’re so inclined), and posters from your college days for decoration!
For those wishing to stay at a hotel, we will have a room block at a hotel in the area for Friday and Saturday nights.
Based on an excellent suggestion we received in 2011’s survey and implemented in 2012, we will again host a lounge area, which will be open 12 noon–10 p.m. on Saturday. If you’re traveling in for the day and want a place to put your feet up, watch some TV, or play some ping-pong, this is for you! Stop by any time.
