On-campus accommodations
Miss having your friends across the hall instead of across the country? Not this weekend! We have single and double rooms and a very small number of suites in a couple of the dorms available. We will do our best to assign rooms/halls by class year and to accommodate your requests of whom you’ll be rooming near.
On-campus housing this year will be Uphill, just steps from all of the events! Singles/Doubles will be in Carmichael/Houston, respectively, and suites will be in Hillsides!
Details:
- A double room means two twin extra long beds, NOT a double bed.
- Your room will include: linens (sheets, blanket, towel) and a pillow.
You’ll need to bring toiletries, flip flops for the shower (if you’re so inclined), and posters from your college days for decoration! - If you register for a suite, we’ll be in touch as the event approaches to get everyone’s name, so don’t worry about that at this point.
Rates:
Singles: $48/night
Doubles: $60/night
Suites (must be reserved for both Friday & Saturday night)
6pp (4 singles, 2 doubles)- $508 for the two nights
10pp (6 singles, 2 doubles) - $816 for the two nights
All the suites are currently sold out! However if we can demonstrate enough interest, we may be able to acquire more suites. If you’re interested in a suite, please email: backtothehill@tufts.edu and note if you’d like to be on the waiting list for a 6 or 10pp suite.
*Please note that we cannot accept requests for rooms in specific dorms/floors/rooms. However we will do our best to group classmates near each other!
Off-campus accommodations
For those wishing to stay at a hotel, we have negotiated a special rate with the Hyatt Place Medford Square (formerly the AmeriSuites) for Friday and Saturday nights, and have a block of rooms on hold.
- The rate is $139/night and includes complimentary breakfast.
- All rooms can comfortably sleep 4-5 persons, between double beds and a full sleeper sofa.
- To reserve this rate, call: 781-395-8500 and ask for the ‘Tufts Alumni Relations’ rate.
- The Hyatt Place has a shuttle that can be utilized to get back and forth to campus and/or Davis Square.
Lounge/Bag Check
Based on an excellent suggestion we received in last year’s survey, this year we will be hosting a Lounge/Bag Check area in the Campus Center, which will be open all day on Saturday. This way, if you’re traveling in for the day and want a place to store your Soiree clothes while you’re at the BBQ, or vice versa, or you just want a place to put your feet up, watch some tv, or play some ping-pong, this is for you! NYC-BOS bus
We are currently exploring the possibility of a discounted, round-trip bus service from NYC to Tufts for the weekend- stay tuned!
