Ann Gisinger, AG10

What she’s doing now: Director of Business Operations for the Environmental Business Council of New England, a membership association for companies operating in the environmental engineering and consulting sector.

How she gives back: Member of Tufts Environmental Alumni (TEA) since September of 2011.

I wanted to connect to the Tufts alumni community, and TEA has allowed me to do so with a group of people who are interested in and dedicated to similar ideals. The best volunteer experience was having a record number of students at our career event in early spring last year. It was great to see so many faces interested in working / advocating for our natural world.

I really enjoyed walking up/down the stairs from Professors Row across the President’s Lawn when I was a student. The trees on that hill are so beautiful and old. It’s a very serene space.
