Why volunteer for Tufts?

I had such a great time at Tufts that sometimes I wish I could turn back time and be a Jumbo on the Hill again – minus the exams, of course! I volunteer for Tufts to reconnect with people I knew at Tufts, to meet other Tufts alumni, and to connect Jumbos of every class and country to each other. I get so giddy every time I meet a new Jumbo!

What was your most memorable volunteer experience and why?

I enjoy each and every volunteer experience in a different way, but bringing together Tufts alumni and current Tufts students in Paris is what makes me smile the most. Being able to connect different members of the Tufts community in my new home amplifies the Jumbo pride to a level I cannot even describe!

If you could go back and relive any day of your life as a Tufts student, which day would it be and why?

I would love to go back and relive every Sunday brunch at Dewick-Macphie Dining Center. Hello waffles, bacon, sausage, pancakes, cereal, soft-serve ice cream, cookies, salad, cream of wheat, fruit, coffee, and tea all on one tray.

If you could bottle up any piece of Tufts and take it home with you forever, what would it be?
I actually just recently met him, but I’d love to have a pocket-sized David Kaplan.
