Distinguished Achievement Award

Dr. Harvey Levy, D74

Levy established his dentistry and hospital general practice in Frederick, MD, in 1980. He and his staff have developed methods and procedures to treat individuals with special needs, which he enthusiastically shares with dental practitioners through numerous publications, courses, webinars, and mentoring. His professional passions include dentistry, teaching, and martial arts.

Colonel Abigail Linnington, F04, FG13

Linnington is a special assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. During her 21-year career, her assignments have ranged from strategy and policy in the Offices of the Secretary of Defense and the 38th Chief of Staff of the Army, to operational planning for U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, to tactical aviation command in the XVIII Airborne Corps, the 3rd Infantry Division, and Eighth U.S. Army (Republic of Korea).

Charles Rosenberg, A82

Rosenberg has had an extensive career in federal law enforcement, focused on counterterrorism, counterintelligence, national security, and criminal matters. He is currently Acting Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Distinguished Service Award

Dr. Tom Hedges, M75

Hedges is Director of Neuro-ophthalmology at New England Eye Center and Professor of Ophthalmology and Neurology at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is past president of the Tufts Medical Alumni Association. Dr. Hedges' research interests include the use of optical coherence tomography and electrophysiology in neuro-ophthalmology.

Brian McCarthy, A75, A07P

McCarthy is the managing partner of the Los Angeles office of the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. As Alumni Council president, he helped advance the growth of the Alumni Association, and also provided significant legal assistance to Tufts in its acquisition of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.

Jonathan Greenblatt, A92

Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, is an accomplished entrepreneur and innovative leader with experience in the private, public and non-profit sectors. He previously served as Director of the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation in the White House, where he led efforts to use innovation to accelerate economic recovery.

Christina Sass, F09

Sass is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Andela, a company that recruits the most talented technologists across Africa and places them as distributed teammates with the world's leading engineering organizations. Prior to co-founding Andela, Christina built education and employment programs in the US, China, Gaza and the West Bank, and Kenya.

Dr. Genevra "Gevvie" Stone, M14

Stone is a two-time Olympic rower, having raced for the USA in the women's single at the 2012 (7th) and 2016 (silver) Olympics. She has also represented the USA at two Under-23 World Championships, at eight Rowing World Cups, and at three Rowing World Championships. She graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2014 and will begin her residency in emergency medicine this summer.

Moises Cohen, A11

Cohen co-founded the Tufts Social Impact Network, serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Tisch College of Civic Life, avidly supports the Tufts Career Center, and coaches students in their social impact career searches. Moises is currently an MBA candidate at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
