Honoring Incredible Seniors at the 2017 Senior Awards

On Saturday, April 8, the Tufts Alumni Association presented the 2017 Senior Awards to 12 members of the Class of 2017. Instituted in 1955, the award recognizes seniors for their outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, and community service.

The evening began with a reception in the Cabot Intercultural Center’s Hall of Flags, followed by the awards ceremony in the ASEAN Auditorium.

David B. Meyers, A96, president of the Tufts Alumni Association, along with Nancy E. Pinn, J88, chair of the Awards Committee, and Maria Madison, J82, AG88, A19P, vice chair of the Awards Committee, read citations for the honorees and presented them with a certificate.

After receiving their award, each senior reflected on their time on campus, their growth as students and active community members, and offered heartfelt remarks about what Tufts has meant to them and how it has shaped their lives.
